Default Christmas gift preps

So this year my wife got me some prep gear. Including some small multi tools, a couple of L.E.D mini lights, and the Shelf Reliance Expedition 4 person 72 hour kit, which includes:

Tools:
multi-function pocket knife (scissors, screwdriver, nail file, etc.)
60 yrd duct tape
"premium" 14-in-1 multi tool
5 plastic drop sheets (9' x 12')
1 steel trifold shovel
waterproof pouch
50' polypropylene rope
2 backpacks (red, multi compartment)
5 pc mess kit
knife/fork/spoon kit
notepad & pencil

Heat & Shelter:
4 x 10 hour heat packs
waterproof matches
wing stove w/ fuel tablets
4 emergency blankets
2 tube tents w/rope

Lights & Communication
4 x 12 hour light sticks
hand crank flashlight/radio/siren
2 whistles

First Aid:
First Aid & CPR booklet
1 x 4 person first aid kit
4 x N95 deluxe dust masks
emergency survival guide
4 pairs of industrial leather work gloves (hate these types of gloves)

Food & Water:
12 Coast Guard approved 1200 calorie bars
2 X 24 oz filtration bottles ( she bought 4 additional bottles giving us a total of 6, each bottle is rated for 100 gallons of use)
8 x 8.45oz Coast Guard approved emergency water

Sanition:
2 fluoride gel toothpaste
2 x 4oz hand sanitizer
4 cloth wash towels
4 tissue packs
2 rolls toilet paper
4 tooth brushes
12 wet naps

She knows where my head's at with survival & preparations. We don't have the money to spend on these items so she did the best she could and gave them to me as a Christmas gift. Maybe not the best quality gear, and there are pieces of gear that I already have that are better than the items in this kit, but there are also pieces in this kit that I didn't have any of.

Still need a solid water purification system, in case of a bug in situation I want to be able to turn my pool into drinking water. But I was very excited to see the big red packs that were hidden under the wrapping paper for me.

She's a keeper

Let's hope the new year doesn't bring a need for all the preps we have.

That's cool.

My Mom gave me the only good prep item, a little press that you make fire bricks out of soaked paper and cardboard with. I'm about to try pressing my first one, my Wife has been saving our junk mail and soaking it in a bucket for a week or so.

@mossy590

Can you post a link to the press you received and let us know how it works for you?
