BajaJames83....holy cow that's a lot of ammo! That's close to 700 rounds a week! You must live in the open spaces.

My mere 6K pales in comparison....

Oh Geez, I don't have a accurate count but I say at least

2,000 7.62x51
5-800 .308
2-3,000 5.56x45
2,000 .45acp
1,000 9mm
100 .475 Wildey Mag
8 12g 8 shot (waste of time)
These are probably low numbers, I know I went threw 3 bottles of new finish and 7 cans of one shot.

I went thru 2 k smk's 175g in 308, 1k 223,350 338lm, 200 .50 cal, 500 .45 and 1k 9mm but this is match ammo not including the cheap plinking blasting ammo reloads! Something tells me it will be a lot less for 2013!

Oh uh wow. To be honest once I work up a load I don't keep repeating the same data in my log. Maybe I should? I only do if I'm doing something new, testing, whatev.

Uhh prolly 8k 9mm and a few hundred .223

Am I the only one that forgets where he stashes ammo? I'm going to stumble across an ammo box or two sooner or later. I think!

Oh and I cast prolly 6 or 7000 bullets. Cheap, but its labor intensive. I just use a 2 pot tumble lube though. I'm glad I did it, but with the smoke at indoor ranges and barrel leading hassle. It's about half the cost or less, but it takes me an hour or 3 to do 400 bullets maybe, not including TL and resizing.

I could crank it up with a 6 pot and lubrisizer for a few hundred bucks, but after a few too many close calls with molten lead maybe I should leave that for people smarter than me LOL

EDIT: I paid around $1/pd for lead shipped. If I got it significantly cheaper and with less hassle than that, say, free, then I'd maybe still do it.

I think I'm hovering around 15k? I think I went through 4? 8lb jugs of rifle powder and 3? 8lbs jugs of pistol. I really have no idea.

If I tried to count them I would scare myself.
I do know that one week I did 1200 rounds of 204ruger, 58000 rounds of 223, 4200 rounds of 45ACP, 2300 rounds of 9mm as well as lessor amounts of other cartridges for myself and about 1000 rounds of 30-06/308win for my daughter and future son-in-law.

4,500 of .223

4,000 of .45 acp

12 .44mag.

I have 4k of .223 brass waiting to be reloaded, 2,500 of 9mm and 3k of .40s&w.

Oh yeah, and 300 of .44 mag, and 500 of .38spl and .357 mag. Enough to keep me busy for awhile.

I shot 4,500 of .223 this year, without reloading I wouldn't have shot nearly as much. I Did all those rounds on a Lee Turret press.

Only of every single round I've ever loaded and with what powder, primer, bullet OAL, etc!

Logs are good for more than just keeping a count of rounds loaded, ya know.

This would be a good place to start:

Seriously though, get a manual first...and read it! Very helpful when making a list of what to buy.

no real clue, for most of the year I reloaded ammo and then shot it, but lately I've been stocking it up.

roughly 3000 5.56
About 800 .308
300 .45 LC
approx 600-700 .357
approx 300 .38 Spec
Approx 300 .30 Carbine
500-600 .243 Win
100-150 .45 ACP (getting ready to roll about 500 of them, bought bullets yesterday at the show)

and approximately 500 rounds of various other Calibers I reload for as needed.

Very impressive numbers here, I only loaded a total of 7003 rounds in 9MM, .38, .45 and .30 Carbine all on a turret press.
