I loaded up 9x19 test loads two days ago

berry's 124gn HBFP
federal brass
cci 500 primers
power pistol at 5.6, 5.8, 6, 6.2, 6.4
oal of 1.06"

I shot them yesterday, and today I loaded up 200 with 6 grains while bumping down the OAL to 1.055"

About 100 more 9MM 90gr flat nose Remington CTF Frangibles with 5gr of Bullseye

I shot about 35 of these on New Years Day at the Gun Range and really liked the feel. They cycled well and ejected nearly straight up out of my Glock 26. I need to try them in the Glock 17 and my 9MM 1911 to see how they do. The only problem I had were that 3 of the bullets broke off at the case neck, so I've backed off my crimp die another 1/2 turn to give no crimp and just resize the case back to original diameter after seating in the expanded case.

I'll try these out this weekend in all 3 guns and if all goes well I'll load up the remaining 1850 or so bullets that I have.

Gonna load up some small primer .45ACP 230GR PRN with 5 grain of Bullseye to break in my new G21 this weekend, too.

Loaded some more 300wsm rounds for ladder testing and modified some other loads. Loaded some 208gr. AMAX's with 63, 64.6, 65.1, and 65.6 gr. of Reloader 17 at a 2.965" OAL. also modified my 230gr. Berger ladder test loads, changed them from 2.950" OAL to 2.970" OAL and added a few more loads, so its at 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, and 61gr. or Reloader 17 now.

Thanks to Mr. Bruceflinch I was able to load up 400+ 9mm 124 FMJ using the last of my primers and powder. I am so happy I have some more plinking ammo, sucks when you have to resort to using hd ammo to plink with.

I loaded about 50 12ga. shells and then ran out of powder. I went to local shop to get some more red dot and was pleased that the price had not been increased. Had to get a new supply of wads also.

Successfully did 4 9x19mm rounds on my new Lee 1000
4 Grains of Titegroup Powder
CCI Primers

Now if I could get the goddamn primers to feed cleanly I'd be in business

Finished Q/A'ing 400 rounds of 9MM 90 grain CTF Frangible over 5 grains of Bullseye.

I don't know how but I got a couple primers in the powder drop that jammed up the charge bar. Good thing I have lights on the progressive so I can see when I get an empty case.

This is close to what I'm going to start tonight. I'm going to do a run of 100 rnds of 165gr x-treme with Autocomp powder. I've got 8lbs and I haven't had a chance to load with it yet.

After some serious trimming, weighing, chamfering, tumbling, seating tests, chronos, range work, powder testing, blah blah blah...I have finally settled on a .308 load which duplicates Fed GMM, even in an auto. For the next few weeks, I'll be loading 1500 rounds. The tumbler keeps on working, but is pretty pissed... LOL

31 rounds of 9mm, 115gr Speer Gold dots over 8.2gr of Blue Dot. Will test some out next weekend, but they've gotta be a damn sight more effective HD rounds than the UMC target rounds.

Loaded another 160 rounds of 9mm, probably end up burning through half of that at the range in the morning.

2000 rounds of .38 Special? That's enough to wear out the crane pivot on your revolver.

Me? Sorted by headstamp about 3000 pieces of 7.62x51 and .308 brass. 1500+ LC, 400+ TW, 1000+ FC .308, 200+ Winchester .308, 200+ WW-Super .308... Primed the Winchester, WW-Super and some of the FC in preparation for loading 400 - 500 rounds of 150 grain Hornady FMJBT over 44 grain of WC846. Also primed 100 7.62x51 cases to be loaded with 150.5 and 165.7 grain AP bullets that I pulled from some corroded 7.62 and .30-06 ammo.

Loaded up the last 575 of my 9mm 90gr frangibles with mostly 5gr of Unique...
Made some test loads of 90gr frangables, and 100gr plated .380 in 9mm with 4.9 to 5.2gr of Titegroup. Time to break out the chrono again...

Loaded and fired 60 rounds 180g .30-06 with 53.5gr of H4350

10 of them were bad because I had my bullet seating die too low but I shot the rest of them without any problems. This was my first time reloading, but I followed what the book said and didn't have many problems. I weighed every bullet to make sure they were consistent.

Why are there only three pictures on this page? There should be a mandatory rule, no posting in this thread without attaching a picture.

This is supposed to be an ammo porn thread. (no matter what the title says!)

Nothing, but I did tumble 300 M1 Carbine cases and order 16 lbs of various powders I commonly use, 1K .308 bullets for the M1 and 1K VMAX 7.62x39 bullets. (Yes, all in stock, ya just gotta scrounge.)
