Default Factory Rifle Conforming to 94 AWB

Looking for feedback on any rifles chambered for .223/5.56 or 7.62x39 that would conform with the 94 AWB requuirements.

Something off the factory line, not a neutered, featureless EBR.

Of course, you couldn't have one of those in CA without at least a bullet-button, since you have eliminated featureless.

I purchased a Daniel Defense M4V3 chambered for 5.56 from a local gun shop. I can also use .223. It came with fixed iron sites, detachable muzzle break, Magpul pistol grip and adjustable stock and a vertical grip.

I changed the vertical grip out with a Magpul AFG, picked up a few 10/30 Magpul P-Mags and added an Aimpoint Comp2 optic.

Couldn't be happier.

I'll say the obligatory good luck finding anything. ;-)

That said, I got a $400 Saiga factory config and it works great. Mags detach like normal, accuracy is plenty good with Irons(for me, but I'm not a benchrest guy or anything). It cycles and works great.

I have an SKS too. Haven't shot it yet though but I really like it.

OP, why? It's not 1994 any more.

You do realize that many rifles that comply with the 1994 AWB would be felonies in CA, right?

The '94 AWB is unrelated to the laws you have to deal with in California.

As such, if passed, would immediately be struck down by the courts in violation of the Constitution. The more thorough they are, the faster it will crash & burn.

Until bill text is available from Thomas, all the AWB content is speculation.

Look on Feinstein's website. No speculation necessary.

Until there's an actual bill, even what is on her web site is speculation.

Politicians lie.
