Default 300 win mag using rl 22 and 165gr tsx load help

Hello my fellow calguner,
I will be picking up my browning a bolt in 10 days and would like to have my hunting rounds loaded and ready to go down range. I will be using rl-22, barnes 165 gr tsx and fed 215 primers. Im looking to make this bullet scream out the gun knowing that barnes bullets like to expand at higher velocities. Your help is much appreciated.

Something to start with. Doesn't have that exactly combo but has the MRX 180 with RL22.

Loading for a buddy's Kimber 300 Win. Mag. using the Barnes 168 TTSX, I used between 76-79 grains of RE-22 in new Winchester brass and used a Federal 215 primer. Be sure to check published data before starting.

I loaded it to just under max. COL. for reliable feeding from the magazine. It shot around 1 MOA out to 300 yards. You'll need to work up the load for your rifle. RE-22 shot better than 4831 and RE-19 in his rifle. I didn't have a chrono to check the velocity, but it should be in the 3000 +FPS range.

Just be aware some RE-22 users have reported RE-22 being temperature sensitive.

I like the new Tipped TSX bullets over the original TSX.

67.5 to 75 grs of RL-22 with the 165gr bullet is what the Barnes manual states.
