Hello all,
Just wanted to share a few pics of the gun collection from the Gene Autry Western Heritage Museum in Los Angeles. Lots of beautiful Colts, and a lot of history there. It's a really nice place to visit. Enjoy! Last edited by leman77; 10-09-2013 at 6:36 AM.. |

I like that Single Action Buntline.
I have one like that in my collection that Autry gave to my stepfather. It was made around 1878, as I recall, and originally in .44-40. Later carried by one of Villa's guys in the Mexican revolution. Gene acquired it in the early 1970's and had it rebuilt as a .45 Buntline as a present for my stepfather. John Wayne has fired it also. Kind of cool, huh? |
