Why they would put plastic grips on a wheelgun that would make Josey Wales drool is beyond me...

Aftermarket slide stop was impeded by the safety plunger and spring... Wouldn't hold open on an empty magazine... Problem solved, and a strip down and clean took care of the minimal rust starting to form...

Customer let the slide slam home on his kimber, a lot... Had an 8 round runaway at the range! Read the manual! Please! Rust was discovered and treated during my teardown...

Been busy these past few weeks, here are a couple projects I've been working on:

5, yes 5 rounds stuck in the barrel of a smith and wesson .357 (incorrectly loaded light .38's, customer attempted to drill the round out of the muzzle ):
And a client that brought me his brand new ruger 22/45, with the magazine reversed in the well.. , and somehow turned his .22 into an auto by "assembling it wrong"

I can't make this stuff up...

Brought over an old Marlin .22 that had feed issues, Chaz was able to quickly identify the problem, and resolve it for me. Great feedback where great feedback is due!

I still plan on bringing you my Kimber Chaz. It's working well again after a good cleaning, but needs new night sights installed as does my new P380.

I've had quite a few projects recently, but my camera isn't uploading pictures anymore...
Will post more after technical issues are resolved...

Now that the camera's working, here's the smith and wesson, just a few more little bits of copper to get out of the grooves...

so what's your hourly rate, machining time rate, bluing charge, etc...

Have a couple things that need professional help. Usually do most of my own work but not on these projects.

Hi Chaz,

I have a barrel coming in for my AR build. I will need to have flash hider pinned on. Can you provide me this service? Barrel is a JP Super Match stainless in .308 & flash hider is a Vortex.
