You can't go wrong with the 6, it is thinner than the 5 (which Jeff Randall refers to as a 'pry bar') but still plenty of knife for any task. The way to get it is get yourself a ESEE 6 blade blank from the knife connection and order their custom G-10 scales, Dale makes some AWESOME scales for all ESEE knives, and for the 6 they make a great knife epic. I just got a NIB 6 with t-k-c ranger green scales and its the perfect ESEE.
