Looks like the bushing is being hit too hard by the recoil spring plug. Did you have the plastic washer from the original guide rod setup installed on the new aftermarket guide rod? I'm guessing the plastic washer was a buffer pad of sorts. A heavier recoil spring may help....or a stronger made bushing, though the force will be transfered to the slide then. Is the slide steel or zinc? I know the zinc slides on the Walther P22 pistols have a reputation of snapping.
