When I was about 15, we were out on a family desert shooting trip. I loaded a whole tube of .22lr rounds backwards into a Marlin rifle. I then stood there for a while yanking on the bolt and trying to figure out why it wouldn't shoot.
20+ years later, after serving in the Army and being a LEO for 12+ years, my family still loves to bring up this story whenever I start talking about guns.
