I was satisfied with the training I received at Front Sight. The actual course fees are low when you do it right. However, when I factor in the cost of gas, lodging, food, background fee, and my time, it always ends up being much cheaper and efficient to just take a local class. And the trainer/trainee ratio at the local options is usually better than what you end up with at FS. I've been offered free memberships to FS and have turned them down simply because I can't be out of town 2-5 days at a time to shoot and I'm too cheap to pay the $50/year for something I'm not using.
