It doesn't pinch me and it's doable. It just seems there is more friction than necessary with a lot of metal to metal contact between the carrier and the hammer. The original hammer sitting lower makes sense. Why not at least relieve the angles on the hammer a little so it rides back and forth smoother?
Just asking. Listening to your advice. Not gonna touch it. Though I am a tinkerer.
