Here's my bench which is built on top of a 10+ year old B&D Workmate 225 bench. The wood is 3/4 inch oak plywood and the base of the table is 2 pieces sandwiched together with glue and screws.

I've discovered that I might need to move my press over to the right some more because I can't sit centered in front of my bench without the press lever hitting my leg and chair. I'm dreading having to drill new holes and use wood filler to patch up the old ones.
