My Grandfather go the 300 savage I got for painting a house. You got to love hand me downs.
My dad gave me a 1948 Savage 99 in .300 for my 40th birthday. Keep your eyes peeled here and I'll start a Savage 99 appreciation thread soon and maybe you can post yours. I love the variations of these and studied the frack out of them. My .300 is the most common EG Model.
