My first reading was that it was a non-committal response, but imo, in this political climate nobody would mention the NRA unless they were either pro-gun or mocking the NRA.
He clearly did not mock the NRA, so my current thought is that he's clearly not an anti, but more than that you can't really say. Not enough information....
