I have have/had Eotechs and Aimpoints and personally I prefer the Eotech. I like the ring and dot reticle over just the dot and the "openess" of the Eotech. There for a while I did prefer the Aimpoint but since the Eotech XPS has come out, I much prefer that.
This is one of those Chevy/Ford questions so be prepared for a mix of answers and love hate.

I suppose what I meant was, are you paying for quality/features that you can't get anywhere else, or for the brand and whether a similar product can be had for less?
