Default 2/15/14 and 2/16/14 Robert (Bob) Vogel IDPA/USPSA Competition Pistol Class at Prado

So I got in touch with Robert and the manager at Prado shooting park.

There were very limited time slots but we made it happen!

Tentative date will be 2/15 and 2/16!

Here's how this will work:

1) PM me your name, cell phone and other forms of contact, and the amount of people you have

2) I will put you and your group down on the list of people who are attending and then give you the payment information (if Robert requires it be paid in advance)

This will be on a first come first serve basis.

For those of you that don't know, Vogel is a world class champion shooter:

The rules, tuition fee and schedule are as follows:

The cost of the class will be $425 for 2 days.

I am working something out with Robert right now to allow students with limited availability to attend for just 1 day. Update to come.

"These prices include my expenses and usually the range/target fees." This means $425 is the TOTAL amount you pay. He covers the range fee.

No equipment and level/experience restrictions, as long as everyone is safe. But please don't sign up if you have not drawn from a holster, it would be unfair (and quite expensive) to you.

Bring about 500 rounds for each day, so 1000 rounds total. Reloads are 100% acceptable *As long as they are safe*

Minimum class size is usually 10, and maximum class size is 16

Total so far: 15(16 for day 2)!!!

Hey Hank, below is the general description for my "Competitive Pistol"
class. As far as what we will be doing in the class: Day one will be
more on the fundamentals covering grip, stance, trigger control (among
other skills) and shooting mostly shorter simpler drills. Day two will
get more involved with some longer more complicated drills and preferable
a stage or two at the end of the day. If there are any special targets
available such as swingers, plate racks, Texas stars, dueling trees I
would also make use of them. There will also be a lecture portion in the
first part of each day where I cover topics such as dry fire, strength
training, practice for skills, practice for matches, shooting stages and
the all important mental game. This is just a general overview, if you
have any specific questions just let me know.

This course will focus on all that is needed to excel in Practical Pistol
shooting competition. Fundamentals and techniques will be discussed in
great detail and students will not only learn the “how” but also the “why”
of certain aspects of shooting. Geared mostly towards competitors in
USPSA, IPSC and IDPA the rules, equipment, strategy and nuances of these
disciplines will be thoroughly covered. From dryfire to basic classifier
drills to shooting actual stages it is all a part of this class. Last but
not least match strategy and the all important “mental game” will be
talked about as well. Regardless of where you’re at skill wise this
course contains what you need to take yourself to the next level.
