I was rabbit hunting with my regular hunting buddy, working a rock pile from different sides and when we were finished with our hunt we began to move toward one another to touch base. I had my shotgun pointed straight up in the air, walking over a broken rock pile toward him and was de-cocking the shotgun when I lost my footing and the shotgun discharged straight up into the air. He looked at me and said "Duck hunting, eh?". I was really embarrased and he still kids me about it sometimes. It's definatlely a learning experience, and one I don't want to repeat.
