I would have rather bought a .280 but I didn't like the browning X-bolt and that was all I could find in left hand. So I compromised on a .270 Tikka T3 and I'll have to stick with 130 and 140 grain bullets which are enough for hunting up to and including elk. Maybe one day I'll get a .280 and it will likely have to be custom or high-end. I really liked the idea of a .284 battery with a .280 and a 7mm-08, but just couldn't find the rifles in left hand.
