The only belted magnum cartridges factory chambered in the Model 70 were Winchester Magnums, or Holland & Holland.
Winchester never chambered the Mod 70 in .308NM, so it's obviously been re-chambered, if it has the Winchester roll stamp on the barrel. If it doesn't, it's been re-barreled. Either way, collector value on a pre-64 Model 70 is gone, in good shape, $400 tops.
Now, that said, if there's provenance that a famous custom gun builder, like Ackley or Biesen, built the rifle, that changes things.
