I agree with Capybara - I've seen (on other forums) SKS's on century; really-really beat up! However it's true; the stock can be replaced, it's the bore that's really important. If the bore is crap then you prob won't hit the board-side-of-a-barn. I don't know about the rest of you but I don't collect wall-hangers, I collect shooters (although they do look good on a wall!)
