Calling ahead doesn't work all the time either. I bought a safe at the Norwalk branch, called ahead on the morning of the pick-up date written on the receipt and got the confirmation that it's there. Upon arrival at the store, they checked the computer and everything seems to be in order. It was only after they showed it to the manager for final approval that they suddenly change their story. Allegedly there was a mix-up and the safe that was delivered was for another customer, and to come back in another week.

Turner's have good sale prices, but they have lousy customer service. I only go there if they have something on sale that i really like.
