As you can probably tell by my sig line, the 1911 is my favorite platform.

Did I know that 2 years ago when I stepped into the world of gun ownership? Nope.

Did I know that last year when I owned 5 9mm pistols? Sure didn't!

It took time, research, money, and a LOT of trips to the range to generate a process of elimination. Id get banned from this website if I listed every quality handgun I spent money on and discovered for one reason or another they were unsuitable for ownership.

Fellow guys, I understand your desire to want your woman to get kitted up and ready to defend herself, but that's a realization she must make ON HER OWN. Buying a handgun for your lady and expecting her to defend herself with it is like buying her a piano and expecting her to outplay George Gershwin. If she doesn't care about guns, accept it.'Cause I know from experience finding your ideal arm is like a pilgrimage to Mecca-its not a trip someone else can make for you.

The 1911 may have been in wars for 100 years, but Masetro Bartolomeo Beretta was arming the world 400 years before John Browning was ever a wet dream.
