KTO is made of two complete halves braised together. This one is similar to the STI's modular design, where you have the serialized metal upper part of the frame and the interchangeable (sort of) grip with magwell.
I've no idea what the quality will be like. Generally, Ares Armor makes good quality stuff (I have a couple of their slings and their compensator). KTO's machining is pretty good (and sharp
