CRPA members and recruiters:
The CRPA has secured a booth at the upcoming Annual Reserve Peace Officers Conference (ARPOC 2011) being held in San Jose, California, on August 25 – 27, 2011 at the DoubleTree Hotel.
ARPOC 2011 is one of the largest law enforcement training conferences held in California with an attendance averaging approximately 500 persons each year. The attendees are part-time peace officers who also maintain a full-time civilian job. As a reserve peace officer, they utilize the same equipment as a full-time peace officer. It’s my feeling that these attendees will be very open to joining CRPA.
The California Reserve Peace Officers Association (CRPOA) is the annual sponsor of this training meeting and they will do everything possible to provide CRPA with exposure during the conference. This includes having meals, coffee breaks and conference rooms near our CRPA booth.
If you have a friend or colleague who is a CRPA member and who would like to distinguish himself or herself as a potential CRPA board member, this is a great way for them to show the board of their commitment to our organization.
In addition, CRPA will commission a CRPA member who is an official CRPA recruiter, $3/member.
Please have potential CRPA booth volunteers call Paula Renteria at (714) 992-2772 and let her know what hours they can work. Paula will be coordinating the shift schedule for the three days.
If you have questions about the conference itself, please contact Craig Stults at 408-499-4552 or e-mail, email@example.com
