If you ever decide to shoot one of your M13's, you may feel that it shoots differently than the M8. It's weird because one would think it being heavier, it would be more comfortable to shoot. By virtue of the grip radius, the M13 actually recoils more right into the web and thumb of my shooting hand compared to the M8. Thus, the M8 is not painful to shoot, but the M13 can be for me! I'm not the 1st person that's noticed this, but it is what it is for small/medium hands like mine.
