***********As of 08-01-2017, semi-auto shotguns with a "bullet button" style magazine lock are now considered assault weapons. [PC 30515(a)(7), 11 CCR 5470(c), 11 CCR 5471(a)]

Starting 08-01-2017, it is not legal to advertise for sale or transfer a semi-auto shotgun with a "bullet button" style magazine lock in CA. [PC 30600(a)]

In order to be CA legal to advertise for sale or transfer in CA, the semi-auto shotgun with "bullet button" style magazine lock will need to be modified into one of the following configurations:

A. Disassembled parts.
Kept as disassembled parts and never assembled while in CA. Reciever is transferred through CA FFL dealer and the rest of the parts go direct to the buyer.
It may also be prudent, while in CA, to store/transport the parts in different containers/locations.

----------------->B. Manually operated shotgun.<------------------------
Remove the gas piston and plug the gas block. This will make it into a straight pull bolt-action shotgun.
As a bolt-action shotgun it is CA legal to accept detachable magazines, have a pistol grip, and have a folding/extending stock (overall length needs to be 26" or greater, measured with the stock folded/collapsed & non-permanently attached muzzle devices removed).

C. Fixed magazine shotgun.
Permanently affix (weld/epoxy/rivet) a 10 or less round magazine into the firearm's magazine well or install a device that prevents the magazine from being removed without disassembling the firearm's action.****************
I will be traveling to SoCal on Dec 9th. So this is pretty much up for grabs to anyone in CA for this month only. Otherwise I will only sell local or just stick it back in the back of the safe.

Please PM any and all questions to help keep this thread clean.
