But like many have stated no one has ever said they wished they had less rounds in a gun fight. If the weapon comes out the magazine probably wont be my top priority .
I think you may have an issue. My understanding is you can replace mag springs, but not the body of the mag. In the strictest sense of things you have built a new mag.
