Reloading Club Eastbay

I personally wont be traveling to San Francisco for regular meetings of a Bay Area club. Are there enough of us here that we could start an East Bay chapter?

shooting4life 08-16-2013 2:22 PM

I would be interested as long as it is not the far East bay (Antioch, Brentwood, etc).

Getssum96 08-16-2013 3:38 PM

What happens in a reloading club? Danville/San Ramon here.

ivanimal 08-17-2013 2:48 AM

We give out clubs and reload silly!

I will get back with more info, but we have classes and meets to go over what we know and can share. We also get group buys and component sharing.

Damn, I want an East Bay club. Can I get a 2lb wooden one? The steel ones tend to spark too much when seating bimetal jacketed bullets.

Swagman00 08-18-2013 9:28 AM

I've got to get in on this. Located in Tri-valley area.

Bumslie 08-18-2013 12:10 PM

Way to go Ivan! The reloading club is slowly infecting all of California!

Psychbiker 08-18-2013 12:30 PM

In for sure!

chardog 08-18-2013 1:22 PM

How do you reload a club? Maybe I'm in, I'll come up from San Diego to see that!

polo.45 08-18-2013 1:54 PM

I'm to far away!!!

milw50717 08-18-2013 2:12 PM

Interested.

Motor Man 08-18-2013 5:47 PM

I'd be in for this, dont know crap about reloading but want to learn. located in Martinez.

dwtt 08-18-2013 5:52 PM

My house is near El Cerrito and I'd like to join when I'm home. Unfortunately, I'm staying in VA for some training until next spring. I'll be back for Christmas and New Year, though. Can I join?

Tyrone 08-18-2013 5:59 PM

I'm new to reloading and want to learn more. Definitely would be in as long as you promise to show us those purdy pythons every once in a while...

Sennasixty8 08-18-2013 7:37 PM

yes... been loading 9/45 for awhile now, but 223 is now a top priority and not as much fun. Lotsa prep work !

Surferchris1 08-18-2013 7:42 PM

Sounds fun, I'm in San Ramon.

Lots of prep! I just started 223. So far I have 650 deprimed and tumbled brass. I then reamed about a 100 so I can prime 100 and then load 100 tomorrow.

My goal is to deprime, tumble, and ream (all my brass is 556 military crimp) all my brass. Then full length and trim as I load.

"Im thinking Concord area"

Concord is a bit north for me. Just starting out, need a nice 1010 and some hand holding.

sigma6 08-19-2013 7:46 AM

Is this going to be a place to reload or setup for group buys for components and stuff?

I got in on this group buy, frankly we are closer to Extreme so it will be easier to do a bunch of smaller buys maybe bimonthly.

OK let me find a place to meet and set the first date.

Don't forget to come up with your own super secret club handshake...

draconianruler 08-19-2013 2:59 PM

I'm interested in the East Bay reloading club. Group buys, helping others, reloading clinics, etc... Please let me know more.

leftyloo 08-19-2013 4:49 PM

Definitely interested! Don't know anything but would like to learn.

mjsweims 08-19-2013 6:32 PM

I'd be interested. I primarily do shotgun reloading for trap plus a bit of rifle.
I'm in Alameda about half the time so Concord isn't too bad a drive.

M1Kev 08-19-2013 9:07 PM

Interested in Hayward. I reload .308, 8mm, 30-06, and .45 on a Rockchucker single stage. Thinking about adding 5.56 to the mix, and if I could ever make up my mind on what I want to do, 300 blk.

GW 08-19-2013 10:48 PM

Is there a reloading club in the San Jose area?
