The glock ak-34

Ackrite 02-07-2013 9:05 PM

...or the extra letters on the serial number? Or do Gen4's come like that?

Palmaris 02-07-2013 9:05 PM

If it is assembled in Russia, why it has Austrian prove marks? May be Glock got in cooperation with Russian company? If somebody has Gen 4, van you check please, if there the same molding marks.

Yes it is from the same source, I guess.

Palmaris 02-07-2013 9:16 PM

Yes, this is Russian Glock. Glock made contract with ГК Промтехнологии in Moscow, they will assemble and sell as sporting semi-auto, only to sport clubs for sport purpose. 17, 34 and 35 Gen 4, 9mm and 40 calibers.

I am pretty sure, second batch of guns will have missing barrels, trigger groups, frames, firing pins and so on.

Interesting.
Id say
1) Long Serial Number
2) Assembled in Russia
3) Proof Markings (between Austria and 9x19 & opposite side between serations and ejector)

There is official contract between Glock and "Industrial Technologies". The interesting thing is that, those guns will be sold only as sporting and only to sporting clubs. Nothing about LE or military.

Price tag MSRP about $2K
