Los Angeles Primary Elections - March 13th 2013

Has anyone researched the mayoral elects and their stance on firearms?

Leaving firearms aside, if you've been unhappy with the way the city has been run these past 10 or more years, there's pretty much only one choice, Kevin James, as everyone else running has been part of the city council.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm going full retard here and looking for a pro gun mayor. First time on a single issue vote.

Heres some info I found.

To be fair, I should point out I know nothing about Austin Beutner.

I was making the comparison between Garcetti, Greuel, Perry, Zarovslavski and James.

What we need to do is find the scientology connection between the church and Baca. Then slap them with a discrimination suit and demand Shall Issue Status handled by the state not the city.

ABC7 Presents the Los Angeles Mayoral Candidates Debate

Garcetti, Greuel, James, and Perry.

First question about gun control.

The only bright side I can see is that Villaraza is finally out of office.

I don't see much promise in this batch :/

So they all want to ban "assault weapons" & Mr. James wants to add psychological testing for all the CCW that LA isn't issuing.

Is there a "None of the Above" option?

Greuel was local councilmember for Sunland/Tujunga. She was awesome in representing her constituent's views and not her own during her tenure. She helped block a Home Depot in town that none of the residents wanted. She also championed the protection of our local mountain ridgelines from housing development. She's also done a good job at ferreting out wasted $ at city hall.

She's got my vote.

I just got my LA Sample Ballot in the mail and started some research on the mayoral candidates.

Garcetti, Greuel, James, and Perry all support reinstatement of the Federal AWB.

None of them will get my vote.
