Question about private sale

I have a revolver I've placed for consignment sale at a gun store. Am I allowed to post it in the "Private Firearms Sales" board?

I was told by an FFL that if your revolver does not sell while on consignment, you will need to do a DROS to receive it back.

While this does not answer your question directly, it should help you with your decision.

yes, you can, but as mentioned above, it might be an issue for you to get it back from the FFL in a timely manor to sell to your buyer.

what I would do is list the gun here with the explanation that it is currently on consignment at XYZ FFL and that any transfer would need to occur there. I'd also check with the FFL what his policy is if you find a buyer first. Will the FFL just complete the PPT to your buyer without requiring you to DROS it back first? Any fees for the unsuccessful consignment if you PPT to your buyer?

Thanks for all the welcomes, but I've been here for years.

Also, I have no problem with giving the FFL his cut. What I wanted to know is if it would violate posting rule.
