Bakersfield Gunshow Prices
What are you guys seeing? Is it worth even going?

Sailormilan2 01-13-2013 11:40 AM

I just got back. No primers or powder. One dealer had a case limit on certain ammos.
$500 CMP Garands were going for $900+. Uppers were going for $800 - $1000. Stripped lowers for $499.
Only thing I bought was two bullet buttons.

That's what I was afraid, thanks.

Anybody have any basic but quality complete AR models? (M&P Sports, etc.)

If so how much where they asking?

AR 500 was there selling all sorts of good targets that would have been worth the trip alone.

.223 ammo was going north of 50 cents a pop and all uppers where up there as well. Most of them were bottom of the barrel "border vendor" brands.Almost everything was a Chinese knock off as far as accessories goes. AR Lower parts kits were 250. Oddly enough most people were there for ammo and nothing else. I felt bad for the junk gun vendors, jerky vendors, Nazi vendor, as well as the person selling sensity. Everyone actually showed up for guns and ammo.

The line was the longest I have ever seen at the Bakersfield gunshow............ the post BHO election lines were no where near as long.

Rafael with Get A Gun has complete rifles from $1,800 - 2,100. He is in northwest bakersfield, 661-978-6450.

Reload .223 was 232$ for 500. They were limiting it to 500 per person for the reloads. And 1000 round total limit.

LAX didn't have an ammo limit so i'd recommend them. Some guy carted out about 20 cases (500rd) of .223 from them.

Both venders were sold out of .223 within an hour.

Did anyone have good 9mm defense ammo like Ranger-T series or Federal HST?
