Bob Vogel - 2 Day World Class Pistol Skills - 11 Nov 2013 - Castro Valley, CA

What better thing to do than shoot on Veteran's Day!?!?

BOB VOGEL 2 DAY WORLD CLASS PISTOL SKILLS NOVEMBER 11-12, 2013 -- CASTRO VALLEY, CA

$450.00

In this course the student will be given the insight into what it takes to develop truly World Class shooting skills. Starting out with the fundamentals and then delving into a heavy dose of technique that goes well beyond the basics, the student will learn the dynamics involved in driving a pistol to the highest level. This course is designed around the ultimate and equal balance of accuracy and speed that is applicable just as much to LE/Military as it is to competition. Aside from the techniques and skills taught this course also has aspects that require the student to truly " think" while operating on a course of fire. A balance between competitive shooting and tactical applications will be maintained. That being said, performing under pressure is paramount. Outside of actual real life situations, competition is one of the few ways pressure can truly be induced. If you carry or use a handgun in any way, shape or form you will benefit from this course.

Although we should thank Veterans everyday, they have a specific day just for them on 11/11. If you're looking for away to thank a loved one who has served or a friend who has served, sign them up for this class which starts on 11/11/13.

This class is 7 months away. If you would like to sign up, we only need a 20% deposit. It's nonrefundable but if you need to cancel for whatever reason, we can transfer the deposit to another class (preferably another class by the same instructor). Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

If you know anyone in the area who might be interested in this class, feel free to let them know. Bob is a great instructor and his May 18 class sold out within 2 months.

I believe so, I signed up earlier and it says seat available.

GreyGroupHelp 08-01-2013 1:50 PM

Yes there are seats still open for this class :)

This class is 16 days prior to the rush of the holiday season. Get out there and take a class before your money is spent on the 'season of giving' or you could 'give' a slot to this class as a gift to a loved one.

Do you know if he used competition ammo or off the shelf ammo for this video? Nevertheless it was pretty damn fast.

Bob uses factory ammunition.

Would this course be good for a novice, or is experience required?

Depends. I've taken a class with Bob before and its definetly not a beginners class. You definetly need to have some experience with drawing and shooting safely from a holstered setup.

Id say an intermediate level of experience and up would benefit most from Bob's instruction but thats subjective also.

Do you have any IDPA/USPSA/action pistol match experience?

jessegpresley 10-30-2013 4:33 PM

Not for a novice. You should already be squared away with holster work, malfunction clearances. There's a lot of movement, which is often considered advanced shooting.

Lugiahua 10-30-2013 8:52 PM

Most classes from either Grey Groups or Alias should be considered as advanced unless stated otherwise.
There are several local institutes provide beginner courses.

Damn... Too bad it's so far away. I'd love to take a class w/ Bob.
