colt 1911 80% frame finish?

So a buddy of mine was given an old colt 1911 frame it has the magazine well milled out and the feed ramp and barrel pocket milled,it needs the rails, all holes, and beavertail safety milled out..so my question is how should he go about finishing it?does anyone make a jig to finish it or are there any build parties for 1911's?

only two campanys ive seen with jigs http://www.ktordnance.com/kto/products.php and http://aresarmor.com/store/Item/AA-1911-J

never seen them in person but the ares looks like it will only fit there frame. but im thinking i can cut a slot to clear the grip frame so it can work on other 80% frames. as for the kt jig i cant make it out how it will work..

Get both of the Kuhnhausen manuals and then look at the Brownells catalog.

There are plenty of fixtures for holding 1911 frames but it's really a milling project and if you are good with a mill, you can easily make your own fixtures using the pictures in the Brownells catalog as a guide.

If you aren't good with a mill, practice by making the fixtures and then you will probably be ready to finish your 80%.
