Chin stock? (stupid, but is it legal?)

So I'm sure this was designed by a dentist looking for a way to make money, but as silly as it is, would this be legal on an AR pistol?

Probably better asked in the pistol forum, but I believe so, yes. It's a shoulder stock that the ATF says turns a pistol into a short barrel rifle. The company making this probably has a FAQ on their site and/or even an approval letter from BATFE stating that this does not make an SBR. It's certainly not a shoulder stock.

Edit: yeah.

But it looks like they are not currently in business for some reason so maybe an issue came up https://halix.co/

Soooo.... Who's gonna be the first to build a 50 Beowulf or 458 SOCOM with one of these? :D

I think my Beowulf ar pistol would not be fun with this, no thanks FMJBT lol

Come up north here with one of those chin stocks and I'll record the YouTube vid of you shooting it though.

Shoot squared up with nose on the charging handle and the buffer extension should tuck nicely on your shoulder and presto not THAT much worse than using a real stock.
