Be great if I could get a store response...

I DROS'd a smith and wesson M&P15 sport about 2 weeks ago. Now its in the winter ad for about $60 cheaper than what I paid.

Anyone know if turners is like other retailers where they'll give you the sales price if you've purchased within 30 days? i don't even care if its cash or store credit, i'd just be putting it in to a decent case since S&W cheaped out and gave me a cardboard box with my AR.

They are usually pretty good about that. Take your receipt and talk to the manager.

If it goes on sale and you haven't (finalize the DROS) picked up the item they will adjust the selling price.

You can also ask the manager if they can give you the sale price now since it is going on sale during your 30day window to pick up.

Did you call Turner's and ask them?

I haven't had a chance to call or go down there yet. DROS was finalized last Wednesday and I picked up on Thursday.

I had a similar situation recently. It turns out that, while they don't publicly advertise it, if an item goes on sale for a lower price, they do have a policy that they will match the price within 30 days. However, the difference may be issued on a gift card.

that would be fantastic. $50 is $50. i'll either buy a case or put it towards my wifes bersa thunder. i'll go talk to the manager and see if he'll help me out. thanks.

I did that a few months ago at the rancho cucamonga branch and got a $70 dollar store credit. I asked the Cashier first and she said no, we don't do that. The lady manager overheard us and said yes they do but only as store credit

fantastic to hear. hopefully i'll have the same luck. guess i'll be making a stop tomorrow. thanks fellas.

if your talking about there holiday flyer that you seen your ar cheaper i think you have to waite until the 23rd to see if your able to get your money back. due to thats when the sales start.. reason i say that i bought the bushnell trs-25 for 99.99 like a week ago it droped down to 89.99 on the ad so i stoped by last night to see if im able to get the diffrence and the cashier told me that i can but have to wait till the sale starts to do that.

the bersa was taken off the roster on 11/15/2012.

as far as sale prices go, if you are currently under the 10 days wait , we can do the ajustment for the sale price, if you've already picked up your gun & it's within 30 days, we can do the diffrence in a gift card.:)

Ok ill sound dumb and say I don't know what "off the roster" means. Not legal to buy in cali anymore? If so that sucks, been wanting that for my wife for a while. Pulled the trigger on my ar first because the bersa is always on sale.

It means a dealer can't sell it to a non-exempt (LEO usually) person in it's stock configuration. It is perfectly legal to buy, except through a process called Single Shot Exemption. Not aware of dealers that do it for a Bersa or if it is even possible.

More about SSE.

No problem. I agree, money is money and can easily be used towards the next purchase. Based on my own experience, I would definitely call and speak to the store manager first to let him or her know about your situation and when you plan on stopping by. It is my understanding that only certain managers can issues the credits, so you may be out of luck if you just show up and none of them are there.

bkk6869 11-21-2012 3:50 PM

big thanks to turners and everyone who replied. went in to turners with my receipt. no problems, no hassle, didn't even need a manager. $50 to a gift card and then went straight over and bought $60 worth of 5.56. Now i'm going shooting tomorrow morning. :punk::punk::punk:
