First gen Glock 19 and plated bullets

Are there any problems with running Xtreeme bullets in a first generation 9mm Glock?
I l know keep plated below 1300fps

I am a great fan of the x-treme bullets I have shot thousands of them thru my Glock with great results. My Glock 17 eats them like candy.

Glocks shoot jacketed, plated, and cast lead bullets great. Just watch your velocity and don't over crimp with plated bullets.

For what it's worth, I shoot cast bullets exclusively in my competition glocks with factory barrels.

Some say 1200fps

The hornady manual says 1100 fps

Load what you feel comfortable with

Thanks guys I've loaded thousands for my Sigs and the MKE94 and love them. I have a buddy that has made me some sick steel targets so I'm making him some ammo for his old glocks to pay him back.

I usually run mine between 1000-1100 FPS using Bullseye great poppy round.

1,300 out of a G34, maybe, not a G19, much closer to 1,100.

You won't hurt the gun with any type bullet that is meant for 9mm. Over-velocity with plated or lead will only cause accuracy problems and barrel cleanliness issues.
