FYI " reloading classes in sacramento "
just stopped at a small shop in the sacramento area ,reloading supplies are priced great and he will school you in a reloading class 50.00 for 4-5 hours , your stuff or buy what you need , if you buy a press from him the class is available at a reduced price . great guy, been doing the reloading thing for 20 or 30 years ,we shot the breeze for over 2 hours .the place is DGS airsoft range on santa anna ave , off raley blvd
Please expand on "priced great"...
How much are popular powders and primers? How well stocked are they? |
RCBS carbide 3 die set 30.00 new , (gone now ) there was about 20 containers of assorted powders (he can get you what you want with a phone call ), its a very small store
new rock chucker 200 , used 100 and all the do dads , tons O lead .just thought it was nice seeing someone willing to go the extra mile on the customer service part |
I wonder if it's the same guy who constantly has ads on Craigslist for new reloading supplies? Something seems a little "off" in his ads...
Sorry the dies were 45.00 and ya he said he trolls clist and buys new and used he doesn't have much for inentory always changing but it looks like he is there for the long haul
i too bought stuff from him very nice guy names don hes very friendly and has all sorts of stuff . i would recomend going to see him as hes got alot of knowledge aswell as product at good prices.

As for the "reloading class", I sat in on a FREE 2+ hour reloading class at Sportsman's last Saturday. Class was taught by a person with 40yrs of experience, answering any questions you had. |

I got the only set of T/C 3 die set in 45 acp that I saw , and I did go into Discount shooters supply ( new store ) and didnt see 1 piece of reloading equipment or even anything relating to reloading . I will check out sportsmans , they are just over the freeway ( was it hands on or just general info )
Discount shooters isnt exactly a new store. You may have been to shooters warehouse, which is new. If you went into Discount Shooters and didn't see the powder, primers, dies, bullets, brass and accessories that cover the back wall, I would be impressed.
rancho store looks new "no reloading items " could have been shooters wharehouse ,
If you didn't see reloading supplies at Discount Shooter's Supply, you were in the wrong store. Their entire back wall is covered with powders, primers, bullets and dies.
DSS is in Roseville off Cirby Road. Looks like they will be getting a new web page up soon, but the best thing to do is to call first if you are looking for something in particular because they are always turning inventory over by going to the gun shows. |

I called and was informed that the RCBS 3-DIE CARB TC SET .45 ACP was in stock. Price quoted was over $45. Not complaining, just saying. |

Lol
I called a Sacramento area ( not the roseville guy ) Craiglist reloading lister looking for 30-06 dies and he was way overpriced ( $50.00 for used rcbs dies ). Someone even posted a reply calling him a white trash picker. It looks like his last listings where on the 9th. I wonder if he will post back up.

And all of his stuff would be in the Calguns market place. |
Just an FYI, the price was marked up on those dies, however I'll honor the price I quoted. PM inbound
