How about a "clone" picture thread?

Anyone into building clones? IDF clones, M16A4 clones, MK12, M4A1, etc.. Post up what you got with a short description!

Here's my M4A1 Sopmod Block II clone. Just recently finished it and it's been quite a journey.

Besides the stock and mag its almost perfect.

Yea I considered swapping out the stock for a FDE B5 sopmod but I had one before and liked the Imod more.

ETA: Post up a pic brother!

My almost M4 clone. Went with the PRO instead of the M68 though.

^Nice, I have one that started off as a clone but a few parts were swapped out as a personal preference.

On the m16a4, what kind of sling mount is that on the butt? It almost looks like it could hold an extra mag on the other side?

Yes, I have a mag pouch on the other side. It's a Specter Gear SOP sling with their buttstock mag pouch.

Can someone please enlighten me as to the exact specs of the M4A1? Is it 16" or 14.5? And what about the furniture? I'm working on mine. It'll be an M4A1 in 5.45x39 =]

All the information you need right here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M4_carbine

There are lots of variants, some with rail systems, some with standard hand guards, etc. so you have a bit of leeway to build it to your preference.

My Colt 6920CA M4. Obvious not total clone because I cant use the shorter barrel like the military version but anyways. I love it. I swapped a regular Colt M4 butt stock onto it, knights armament rail system, surefire light and also have the ACOG which I just sighted in this past weekend for this weapon. I had the TA31 when I had one but the TA01 I like better for the finer crosshairs at the range.
