HighPowerOptics™ will install your rifle scope using the RingTrue™ tool kit and process.
For more information, go to

The installation process covers:
Ring lapping & taping
Scope positioning & reticle alignment
Optical zeroing

If the boresight alignment on your rifle hasn’t been checked, this is a good opportunity to have it done.

We apply RingTrue™ tape to your rings
-> improved ring grip & no scope tube scratches!

After our optical zeroing process, your rifle should be within 4” of zero at 100 yds.
Fire two sight-in rounds and your rifle is zeroed.

Currently we can install 1” and 30 mm scope tubes.
* Bring your rifle, scope and rings *
First come, first served.
Priority will be given to new scopes, not already installed.

We are also available to help new shooters sight in their rifles, troubleshoot problems,
and answer questions about sports optics.

This first clinic was very successful. bruce_ventura was on hand to help shooters with a variety of problems, including dirty lenses, loose mounting screws, slipping scopes, and complete scope installation and reticle alignment. Boresight mis-alignment issues were common.

Until further notice, we plan to hold a Rifle Scope Clinic once every month at the Piru Range. Check this subforum for the upcoming date.

Due to popular demand, we are now offering this clinic twice every month. See the first post for dates and locations.

Hey so I am fairly new to long range rifles and after buying a 30-06 Savage 111 I thought I would switch the default scope out for a Bushnell Banner. Since I know next to nothing about mounting scopes it didn't go well. So if I take it in you will help me sight it in for free?
