i think its fairly rare(as far as i know its the only one in new zealand) but you never know what people have tucked away in their workshops.

Nice piece. That would be fun piece to shoot.

Now if you were here in California, you would have had so much help with that, it would have been completed a week after you found it! TOO COOL!

On the other hand, the DOJ probably would have confiscated it & deported you...:(

Are you ALLOWED an operational cannon in New Zealand? What are your firearms law like? Obviously, as noted, we cannot have operational cannon in CA. (other free states - yes, CA - no)

bruceflinch 05-19-2012 6:49 AM

^ We can have BP Cannon's, which would still be cooler than no cannon.....

That is very cool. Do you have a line on the parts?

BTW -- I can have one here where I live and would really enjoy owning a cannon.

Desert shooting would be a lot more fun.

Thanks for sharing -- let us know if you get it finished and get to shoot it.

Why not make your own?

Heck, that's a simple project on a Bridgeport.

Methinks that may not be the only cool thing in your workshop. That flash hider in pic 1 says you have a very nice collection....:)
