Nice rifle!

Sweet! Mines in jail gets released on Monday.

Knife Edge 04-02-2012 6:29 PM

Trying to take this one a new direction. The scope mounts are quick disconnect as is the bipod, can still run it in a course but I can also take it to the desert and blast steel.

weber_2 04-03-2012 5:56 PM

^what type of scope and mount is that. I'm debating a reddot or scope

Knife Edge 04-03-2012 6:53 PM

Leupy VX-III in Warne rings, 202LM. The 40mm objective just barely clears, they are .525" tall, top of base to bottom of tube. It came with the extended rail and I have never really used it, I am more or less messing around. If it works out I may keep it like this.

Nice, I was thinking to get one & put it on EBR stock.

weber_2 04-17-2012 10:17 PM

I'd look at the new 2-MOA T-1 in an ultra low mount, say AD-T1-L, Leupold Delta Point, as well. Playing around with a scope right now, but the RDS at a 100y steel range or even 25y indoor is/was a TOTAL hoot. Thank God for QD...

manuelcardenas77 04-18-2012 7:28 AM

Where did you get that sling? @helix

winnre 04-18-2012 7:40 AM

I am still debating what barrel length I want.

MrPlink 05-12-2012 1:19 AM

I find it funny that the majority of these I see have nothing on the rails but maybe rail covers! Still look cool though

weber_2 05-12-2012 7:57 AM

^its cuz we spent so much damn money on the rifle we don't have anymore money to buy accessories;)

In the case of the SCAR there really isnt an option sans rails, where as there is on the ACR and M1A. AWB issues aside I would be interested in trying a socomII with a stubby vfg.

Knife Edge 05-13-2012 5:04 PM

I put an AFG2 on it up in NV, was freakin awesome. Weight issue.... Eliminated. Muzzle rise? 0.

Got a Socom II with extended rail. Unitized the gas system, Sadek Ti coated piston, Narrowed the front sight, Sadek National Match spring guild, 5lb trigger job, lightened the hammer for quicker lock time, Baretta BM59 extractor, custom urban camo. Shoots fantastic.

good to know!
that was my hypothesis

weber_2 05-14-2012 9:41 AM

I was debating to get the AFG I know its a gray area but isnt a BB also "gray area". DOJ has never officially approved a BB, right?

How's this

Knife Edge 05-14-2012 1:01 PM

Honestly, it doesn't even need an optic to be fun. The stock sights are more than sufficient for 100y and in; watching the dust pour out of the ceiling after each shot is epic. She's a thumper, like the Harley Davidson of short .308's.

weber_2 06-11-2012 6:21 PM

Added some upgrades. We need more pics of Socoms
