and it will ping the irons at ASR all day at 100 yards.....

Cruznegao 07-25-2011 6:23 PM

It does look nice. It would nicer w/ a longer barrel

Rallyfan 07-25-2011 6:28 PM

I agree, it'd be interesting to see with a longer barrel. I like the choice of scenery and lighting because it makes the stock and barrel blend into the surroundings very well.

762.DEFENSE 07-25-2011 7:12 PM

Good looking photoshoot!

DannyInSoCal 07-25-2011 7:18 PM

AJAX22 07-27-2011 2:37 PM

Did the new stock allow for a double stack mag?

Verci0013 07-27-2011 4:53 PM

I don't think so, mine is still single stack. :(

I don't know of a DS mag but i know for those in a free state they do make a 15 round promag for the 995.

DannyInSoCal 07-31-2011 6:34 PM

There is also a YouTube video showing step by step how to convert a 15rd 1911 mag in .45ACP to work in the HP Carbine....

buy a few mags from hipoint direct, they will sale them to you $17 shipped, it's a great plinker you should have a blast.

stix213 08-04-2011 5:06 PM

That's either a really small gun, or a very large nail in those pics

glock_this 08-04-2011 5:07 PM

Is this what they mean by "polishing a turd" - looks like you pulled it off

;) I kid I kid

ElvenSoul 08-04-2011 5:10 PM

The 1911 mag converison problem is the mags will not now work in a 1911...but at least you can have 10rnd for your HiPoint... good paint job!

mrvash 08-04-2011 5:41 PM

Do Hi Points need bullet buttons? also, how much are they?

ElvenSoul 08-04-2011 5:43 PM

Turners sells them for like $350

ElvenSoul 08-04-2011 5:46 PM

I recommend upgrading to a steel or aluminum billet trigger. There is also a double mag holder that can be mounted to the stock

ElvenSoul 08-04-2011 5:46 PM

The ones Turners sells have bb's

510GUY 08-04-2011 6:00 PM

Where in the bay area do they sell these rifles

ElvenSoul 08-04-2011 6:33 PM

Talk to DD's Ranch about importing one into CA. They usually have ones with Bullet Buttons in stock.

It's a huge tent stake, some turd put it in the log left it there and tied a bottle of water to it, i took it when we left camp.
