I didn't think there was a wait time for a rifle...

rojocorsa 06-23-2011 4:45 PM

I shoot my CZ-452 the macho way, without a scope.

Unless the long gun is over 50 years old and it's a private party transaction. Then cash and carry is OK.

I just called the shop and there is the regular 10-day bs. For some reason, I thought small-bore rifles were exempt. I must've read that somewhere a long time ago. California pisses me off.

Finally ! 1st bolt action ever . just another savage 22LR mark ll F inda house !

glad i didnt get a left handed model , me being left handed shooter , i can still keep my finger on the trigger and use the bolt with my right . kinda neat

well here it is

I'm also left-handed but I do a lot of bench-rest shooting and I want to plant my elbow and leave it there which is a little hard with a right-handed bolt.

Here's a couple more -

A pair of Charles Daly (Serbian manufactured by Zastava) Superior II's .22lr - I'm still deciding whether to refinish the muddy colored one. Wifey says "leave it alone".

My match gun. Might trade her in for one of those modern 22 spaceguns. Or not.. Might be a nice gun to hold onto for awhile while I shoot the modern free rifle.

Those savages are purdy. that pic just convinced me to make that my next pick up i think the camo one. idk i kinda got a thing for rifles that look like they are covered in brush. lol

DeathByDoubleDip 12-21-2011 9:36 AM

A CZ-452 I picked up from another Calgunner. It is still much more accurate than I am, and I'm sure a lot of you with bolt-action .22's that cost 1/3 of what this did can outshoot me. :cool2:

This thread makes me smile. I love a good quality .22 bolt-action rifle, especially with iron sights.
My CZ 452 Mannlicher full-stock. It's got a 20 inch barrel, the wood to the end of the barrel with a muzzle cap, and amazing, high-quality iron sights.

custom paint job, custom trigger job, cheap bipod, and a barska 6-24x60mm Swat Tactical Elite (kinda cheasy name for a scope, but it works GREAT)

And believe it or not this little rifle successfully made a shot at 800 yards after purposly walking my shots in and adjusting accordingly.

Im never giving this little rifle up.
