Awesome piece.

Stanze 06-08-2009 12:02 AM

You bet your arse I have a "tactical" 10/22.

Blued 10/22 with stock barrel
Butler Creek folding stock
Pro-mag VFG on a "custom" screwed on 1913 picatinny rail
Wal-Mart special 3-9x scope
Leupold scope mounts
Butler Creek pre-ban 25 round mags (although the factory 10 rounder is the most reliable)

Plenty accurate to 50 yards, COM hit accurate at 100 yards.

I shoot it until my finger gets tired or I get bored and move on. Whichever comes first!

jd1911 06-10-2009 1:52 PM

That is nice

iridesportbikes, that is a pretty sick looking 10/22. i looked up the cost of that kit and damn, but it does look like its worth the money. Very Nice

This is my Appleseed training rifle(Appleseed info), that I modified so my daughter and I could both comfortably shoot it.

Someone at the range the other day asked me how I liked my "tactical" 10/22. I never really thought of it as that, I just got the T6 stock for it so my daughter could shoot it easily with the stock all the way collapsed. I thought the charging handle looked cool, and it makes it easier her her to rack the action back. I changed the sights to Tech sights and they are a great improvement over stock. Ladder rail covers, just for looks. The jury is still out on the grip, it's a nice addition but I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep it on there.

Here's some pics:

Good inspirational pics here. I'll likely be getting a 10/22 in the next few weeks, looking to get the Tapco kit in olive drab. Will post pics when it's done.

OMG :drool5:

a longer scope would look more sniper-ish IMO

mag318 09-19-2009 6:57 PM

Wow, where to start. You guys have taken one of the best 22s ever made in this country and have made it even better. I have a 10-22 International and a T model but all these look way cooler. Just goes to show what a versatile platform the 10-22 is.

rodent.22 10-04-2009 5:12 PM

my 10/22

1 Attachment(s)
Draganov stock, 25 round butler creek mag, 30mm BSA red dot, 16'' threaded barrel, A2 suppressor. Not expensive but lots of fun....:D

Vertical forward grip w/retractable bipod; red laser and a Leaper sniper scope.

The terrorist squirrels don't have a chance.

Is that just a black tapco stock?

Yes it is. Before that it had a Ramline folding stock (for 20 years).

bigcalidave 10-16-2009 6:58 PM

Ok I have one of the bullpup kits I'm gonna build when I can get a CHEAP 10/22 receiver but for now I have the one in my avatar :P Magnum research all the way.

I think you need a bigger scope :D

bigcalidave 10-16-2009 7:10 PM

Speaking of that gun, I need to put a bipod on it. What do you guys use to attach a bipod to a wood stock like that pretty thing from magnum research?
