**********

WHO:

Former active duty Marine turned surburban dad/Reservist.

WHAT:

Two-in-one shotgun package deal, with everything you need to build:
- a "tactical" Remington 870 Express with Magpul Forend, Insight M6 LED Weapon Light + Laser with Remote Pressure Switch, and 12" Length of Pull (LOP) Hogue Youth Stock
- a "classic" Remington 870 Express with factory Remington Laminate Wood Forend and Stock

To be clear, it's just one Remington 870 Express shotgun, but the package comes with the upgrades and accessories to build either of these configurations -- the former for home defense, the latter to make Joe Biden proud.

WHERE:

Elk Grove (Sacramento).

WHEN:

I'm generally free during weekday working hours (9am-4pm), but can make myself available on weeknights/weekends.

WHY:

I watched Terminator 2 back in 1991 and resolved to get a shotgun when I grew up. I did so while I was still on active duty in Arizona back in 2011, and have since lugged it around to New York and now California. However, as a suburban dad who now only shoots once in a blue moon, I can't justify keeping this locked under our bed on the offhand chance that Skynet takes over. I think it's time to let go of this one. My loss is your gain!

HOW:

I prefer a face to face (FTF) private party transfer (PPT) at the Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) of your choosing in the greater Sacramento area. However, I drive down to the Bay Area (Alameda) all the time for work, and can take either I-80 (passing through Davis, Vacaville, Vallejo, Richmond, etc), state routes (passing through Lodi, Antioch, Concord, etc), or I-5/580 (passing through Lodi, Stockton, Tracy, Livermore, Hayward). Thus, I can also meet you at an FFL in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, as well as any of the cities I'll pass through on my way from Sacramento.

However! Now that I've better acquainted myself with the laws and regulations concerning the shipping of firearms, I'm willing to ship this package as well. Your local FFL must be willing to accept shipment from a non-licensee, and I'll have to add a flat fee of $25 to cover costs if we go this route (as opposed to a FTF PPT).

Here's how I came up with the price for this package.

$300 for the shotgun:

- $79.99 for the Remington Laminate Wood Stock (Remington #: F114500W) (I got this in a trade; that's how much MidwayUSA charges right now)
- $14.99 for the Blackhawk! Mountain Sling (Blackhawk! #: 73SM00BK) (that's how much I paid in 2012)

Adding it all together, we have a $508.13 subtotal x 1/3 discount for being pre-owned/wear and tear = ~$350 $200 (or $100 if you don't want the Weapon Light + Laser with Pressure Switch).

281 views and just one bite. I've changed the package deal and lowered the price. Bump!

FBI Special Agent Adam Frawley and Boston Police Department Detective Dino Ciampa both agree that a Remington 870 is an excellent choice for a LEO standoff outside of Fenway Park:

And with this sale, you can configure both ways, just like the movie: sensible and non-threatening wood stock (hi Joe Biden!) OR modern and pragmatic tactical version.

Marine Corps birthday bump! If you're a Marine, I'll sell this to you for $550

Veterans Day bump! If you're a veteran, I'll sell this to you for $525

Bump for great deal.

Price drop for the third (and final) time!

Be like FBI Special Agent Frawley from The Town and run with your Remington 870 all tricked-out in "tactical" configuration (i.e. extended magazine tube, side saddle, etc):
http://www.imfdb.org/images/thumb/b/...0px-TownJH.jpg

Or be like GPD Officer Blake from The Dark Knight Rises and run with your Remington 870 in the "classic" configuration (i.e. regular magazine tube, laminate wood stock, etc):
http://www.imfdb.org/images/1/11/DKR-pstill-2.jpg

With this package, you can configure the Remington 870 either way! But the important thing is: you must get a cool-guy photo of you running with it.

Hey, I don't make up the rules.
