PS: "active list" is not an elite club, its the group that practices everyday and learns to work and communicate as a team. Simply playing this game twice a week and telling us that you kick аss is not enough. We practice around 8-9 PM and on, so hop on TS, show us what you can do and work as a team. We get to know each other and learn others' skills.

I play it on PC. I always found aiming in fps games kinda awkward with analog controllers

The clan I'm in has a server you all can use. It's usually empty as we're kind of re-organizing. Let me know if you're interested. It's a 24 person server set to hardcore & Arica Harbor Conquest mode. I'm an admin, so if you want it changed to something else, I can check with the owner of the server to see if it's O.K. to run a few different maps for the night.

As for the game server itself, I'm not sure. I just play on whatever has a relatively low ping, and is hardcore mode. I hate playing non-HC, honestly.
Makes me mad when 10 rounds of 5.56 doesn't take a player out.

If we're all on the friends list, one person can just find a relatively empty server and everyone can join that friend on the same server.

Furyous, we'll probably take you up on that offer if we can't find any populated servers to play on.

I don't use the Steam client. I bought the actual copy. Doesn't matter, it will still work. Just so long as we're all on our BC2 friends list.

I think the option that furyous offers is more suitable. SO we want a hardcore mode, right?

Yeah, I did too. I use Steam mainly cause the rest of my clan does for IM. I might not be able to play, just admin... either way, I'll send you a friend request.

I don't want to get too far away from what the server is right now, It's a bit of a pain to change everything. If we could just choose Conquest/Rush/Mixed, Hardcore or Non-Hardcore, and whatever map(s) you want, it'd be appreciated. We get most use out of those, and if we don't get a full house from CGF, it'll allow the server to fill up with other pubbers.

As far as rules go... pretty simple:

No tanks/ APC's until at least 5v5 (makes it more sporting)
No spawn rape
No attacking the uncaps- unless they are just camping @ their uncap & sniping, then you can snipe/shoot back... just don't enter the uncap.

There are a few others that scroll on the server, but those are the main ones.

Sorry to throw some conditions of use in there, but again... it's not entirely my server. :D

I choose rush. Best game mode imo. Conquest is just a bunch of running around in circles capping flags, TDM is a lot of luck in where you get to spawn. Rush is perfect.

Agreed. Rush is awesome. Lets make it hardcore and whatever maps are up there. I love valparaiso and harvest day personally.

I can change my clan tag temporarily. I'm not even in a clan, I just like the tag. We should just play all rush maps and have it rotate. I love Oasis and Valparaiso. We also need to have the server populated. It won't be fun with just us three or four playing, and nobody else. If we don't get a decent sized game going in the first 15-20 minutes on that server, we should move to a different server. Judging by the responses in this thread, we'll probably only have 3-4 people playing tonight, so we'll just squad up and rape face on a public server.

O.K.... so I switched the server over to Rush, Hardcore, and all the standard maps- not sure why the newer maps aren't loaded up... I'll have to ask. But, there are 6 or 7 on rotation 2 rounds each. Have fun! I'll come in if I get a chance... but I got to go out to eat with the in-laws
