Fathers Day Fun Shoot

Would there be any interest in starting an annual Fathers Day Fun Shoot at Moore-N-Moore?
I know I'd be interested, anyone else?

whutsup40 06-11-2018 5:49 PM

damn your good ceh!! I am in, for anyone interested sunday at 8 am, the unofficial start of the the fathers day fun shoot at moore / moores sporting clays, I will talk to Cory and see if we can get something going!!

ceh383 06-11-2018 5:55 PM

I like the idea and would love to attend, but this year I might be stuck in Buffalo.
whutsup40, I think the normal opening time at Moore-N-Moore is 9:00am.
I think 8:00am is just for the Bonanza blast...Check with Corey.

whutsup40 06-11-2018 6:06 PM

Let's park by the new restrooms. We should ask Cory for score-sheets and make a day of it. Any time I best 50% is a good day. :D

What do you mean spectate?

shovelon 06-15-2018 9:51 AM

Hey, I can buy 1000 targets as a member and we can all shoot off my card. I will keep the rest.
What say you???

"Open Father's Day!
We'll be open from 9 am to 5 pm. Bring your dad out...or bring your kids out and make them pull and score for you! You dads deserve a day off, might as well spend it doing what you want to do...and I don't mean brunch.

TARGET SPECIALS
All dad's get to shoot at Club Member rate.

If you're already a Club Member, you can buy 1000 targets for $380 ($20 off). Buy 2000 targets for $710.00 ($50.00). Don't miss out!
Must shoot on Father's Day to get the great deal. Hope you can make it and if you can't, have a HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!"

Come on now Terry, you have been shooting much better than that lately...
You even beat me last month at the Bonanza

PS: I got in late last night, nothing like a 23 hour work day. I'm tired as heck now but should be good to go tomorrow!!!

langss 06-16-2018 8:25 PM

It does not look like I will make it. The oldest Grandson wants to take me to the LA Roadster Show in Pomona. He is even going to drive. So maybe another time.

shovelon 06-16-2018 9:49 PM

Sorry you can't come Langss.

See the rest of you in the morning.

I would have called Kevin and Jim but my cell phone crashed and took all my contacts with it. The new phone is a PIA. Anyway next year. This is going to be fun.

True. It does weigh more than it feels like

Thatís probably why Your gun was so nice to shoot.

LW, as a comparison, the Browning that you shot weighs in at 8lb 8.2oz. When mounted the Zoli feels much lighter, I guess that's what they mean by balance between the hands.

Many people say the feel of a Zoli is much like a Perazzi and you would be hard pressed to tell the difference.
