Glock 23 Modifications
Hello, I've had my Glock 23 for several months now and have shot alittle over 1,000 rounds with it, it's a great gun and I'd like to know what some G23 users have done to modify it.
So far mine is stock but I'd like to see what kind of modifications I can buy for it ect.. Thanks!:D |
Night sights and more ammo. Shoot the snot out of it.

Talon grips and a tac light if has a HD role. Keep everything else stock

Thanks guys

My standard Glock setup-
Sights- your choice, mine are Warren tactical. Vickers extended mag release Smooth trigger face- for glocks with serrated triggers like the 26. Everything else I leave factory. |
3.5# trigger, extended slide stop, jentra plug, night sights.

Aro-Tek treatment
My Glock 23 was modified by Aro-Tek in Washington state:
1. Hard chrome slide 2. Night sights 3. Extended chrome mag release 4. Extended chrome slide stop 5. Steel guide rod http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o.../Glock2340.jpg |

Other than that and nights, you really don't have to change anything. |
Changed the original serrated trigger to a smooth one:

Night sights and beveled the bottom edge of the magazine release (not needed unless you're left handed). That's it.

Ported barrel

That funny...I put the serrated triggers in my full size glocks :) Back on topic, get some metal nite sites, Metro or Trijicons are great, and a lot of ammo and some training courses.

Mine: 3.5# connector with the NY-1 trigger spring. The trigger pull is still pretty close to stock, but has a very crisp reset. I also put a Hogue overgrip thing on it. It's otherwise bone stock. Perhaps one day I'll put night sights on it.

Hogue grip, night sights, "-" connector if you want, $0.25 trigger job, another 2000 rds.:D

Depends on what you use it for, carry, competition, home defense, or plinking at a range? All have different missions.

I bought a Lone Wolf 40-9 conversion barrel and a G19 magazine for mine. I swap the barrel, insert and G19 magazine and shoot BOTH .40S&W and 9mm at the range. It's like 2 guns in one !

+1 on Talon grips. ^

Steel guide rod, night sights, talon grips, surefire e2d led defender to hold in your hand, and a whole lot of ammo (cus you can never have too much).
